2. Scope of this website
This is a static informational website. It has no contact form, user accounts, newsletter, comments, online shop, analytics, marketing services, cookies or externally hosted fonts, videos, maps or scripts.
If you contact us by telephone or email, your communications providers operate independently of this website. Clicking an email link opens the email program configured on your device; the website itself does not receive your message.
3. Data categories and collection method
When you visit the website, the hosting and reverse-proxy infrastructure may automatically process connection and request data transmitted by your browser. Depending on the technical event, this may include:
- IP address;
- date and time of the request;
- requested file or URL;
- referrer, if transmitted by the browser;
- browser and user-agent information;
- HTTP status and amount of data transferred; and
- technical error or security-event information.
This data is collected automatically by electronic means when your device connects to the website. We do not combine it with visitor profiles.
4. Purposes, legal basis and recipients
The data is processed to deliver the requested website content, maintain stability, diagnose errors and protect the website and systems against misuse and attacks. The legal basis is Article 5(2)(f) of KVKK: processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject.
Where necessary for these purposes, the data may be accessible to Hetzner as hosting infrastructure provider, authorised technical administrators and competent public authorities where disclosure is required by law. Data is not disclosed for advertising or marketing.
5. Retention and disposal
The standard retention period for server and proxy logs is no more than seven days. Data linked to a specific security incident may be retained for the duration necessary to investigate and document that incident. A binding legal obligation may also require a longer period.
When the processing purpose and any legal retention requirement end, personal data is erased, destroyed or anonymised in accordance with Article 7 of KVKK and the applicable regulation.
6. Hosting and international transfers
The website is delivered through Hetzner infrastructure and an authorised reverse proxy. Technical data may therefore be transferred outside Türkiye and processed within the European Union or European Economic Area. No fixed data-centre location is stated in this notice.
Such processing is subject to Article 9 of KVKK. As of the date of this notice, the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board has not designated any country as providing an adequate level of protection. Simosan Medikal is responsible for identifying, documenting and, where required, notifying the applicable transfer mechanism. This notice does not claim that an adequacy decision, standard contract, undertaking or other transfer safeguard has already been completed.
7. Your rights and how to apply
Under Article 11 of KVKK, you may:
- learn whether your personal data is processed;
- request information if it has been processed;
- learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in accordance with that purpose;
- know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom the data has been transferred;
- request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data;
- request erasure or destruction under the conditions in Article 7;
- request notification to third-party recipients of correction, erasure or destruction operations;
- object to an outcome against you resulting exclusively from automated analysis; and
- claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
Applications must be made in Turkish. You may submit a signed written application to the controller address above. The legally permitted electronic methods are registered electronic mail (KEP), secure electronic signature, mobile signature, an email address previously notified by you and registered in the controller's systems, or an application channel provided for this purpose. The ordinary contact email above is a valid formal application channel only where those legal conditions are met; it may otherwise be used for preliminary enquiries.
Your application must identify you and state your request. It must include the information required by the applicable application rules and any supporting documents. Simosan Medikal will respond as soon as possible and no later than 30 days after receipt. Applications are generally free of charge, subject to any fee permitted by the official tariff where the response causes an additional cost.
8. Updates and official sources
This notice is reviewed when the website, hosting, logging or applicable law changes. A form, analytics, external media, cookies or another data-processing feature requires a new assessment before publication.
